"I decided to book in some time with Adam to deal with the mental side of my golf, which is not the strongest part of my game. I learnt a lot from him whilst chatting out on the course. He taught me the 'think box, play box' idea which works well for me because I often stand over the ball not 100% sure of what I am actually trying to do with all the thought processes clogging my brain. Therefore, he told me about this process to think about all of my shot thoughts and the percentage play before I address the ball, and commit to 1 shot, consequently saving me shots and leaving me feel more confident in what I am trying to do. The best process I gained from Adam that day was being able to use my peripheral vision which I picked up very quickly and has sharpened up my game a lot! It helps in every shot e.g. Off the tee- I would set up as normal and focus on the ball but allow my target line to come into sight out the corner of my eye which gets me thinking of my line and only my line, not ANY trouble around me. Surprisingly it has improved my driving accuracy! so it shows how important the mental side of the game is and I'll be continuing this. Cheers Adam!

I had been having trouble enjoying the game before I worked with Adam. For example, I’d been taking 30 plus putts for a while due to the yips. It was very disturbing as I thought the yipping could have been the end of me. The bigger the situation the more likely I was to yip. Straight after our session I shot a 66 with 24 putts! It was tough as well, windy and raining and I holed 8 or 9 putts from inside 10 feet. Since working with Adam I have shot the lowest 4 rounds of my life. Adam has helped me rediscover why I started playing golf in the first place, and how to start having a good time on the golf course again. Thanks coach.

Having heard of Adam of Adam's work through the online social media I was pleased to finally get to meet up at the NEC golf show in 2009. I was fortunate to meet Adam last year at the UK golf show in Birmingham. After a brief conversation it became apparent the Adam was just the person to help me with the issues i had been having with my game. I am a PGA professional with a desire to play golf at the highest level my ability will allow. Around 2 years ago as the rest of my game was developing nicely i began to have some issue with my driver. I am sixty nine years old and have only been playing for a year. I was sceptical that Adam could assist me when lessons from a pro and video lessons on the net have not helped me. What I wondered could there possibly be on six CDs that would alter my playing ability? Surely I thought these CDs must be padded out, no one could possibly talk for that amount of time and make it worthwhile. How wrong I was! The information in the CDs is like discovering gold.

If you were to take the amount of words spoken and divide them into the ludicrously low cost of the CDs then each word must be worth 1000^th of a penny. A heck of a lot of output for such a small reward. Adam’s teachings are worth every penny of the asking price. I have always had a fiery temper (particularly on the course) but now I’m able to come to terms with bad shots, ill luck and all the other trials that beset a golfer.

I have learned to play rhythmically and to stroke not strike the ball, my alignment has improved beyond measure and my short game is virtually unrecognisable. Distance at my age is still a factor but I know that just listening to the CDs again I will conquer that.

Each time I play I am improving and one can ask no more than that. Apart from the CDs , newsletters etc., Adam will always respond to any e mail sent. In the days of poor customer service you can ask no more than that.

I am a 60 year-old retired teacher and have been playing for 11 years. I have enjoyed working through the material and played for the first time today for several weeks. The goal today was to enter the playing state as often as possible. My handicap is 8 and I shot 6 over (having 3-putted four times!).

The "playing state" is worth the price of the course 10 times over. I've been working with a video camera for a couple of months now and know that much technical improvement is possible - but the playing state allowed me to just play the shot without getting bogged down in technical stuff. As you say, many so-called sports psychologists list negative attitudes to avoid and positive ones to focus on but absolutely fail to tell me how to do it! Your course provides the "how to".

Obviously, I'm just breaking the surface with your material but it's already apparent to me that it's providing powerful tools to help me play much more consistently and to enjoy the game much more.

Hi Adam

Second round using the playing state today and it's transformed my enjoyment of the game beyond belief. Had a technique session last night and had an awful front nine but no frustration, just acceptance. Back nine was better and had such a bad overall score (the vets have me playing off 5) that I was told I needed 8 points on the last 3 to get to 30 (vets can't keep quiet!). After the round, a check revealed it had been 31 and the fourth best score (of 27 players) - the best gross by quite a margin. Came off quite excited and very fresh. It had been very cold and most of the guys were extremely tired. I felt great. Can't remember scoring so badly and feeling so good afterwards.

I've now learned to integrate technical changes off the course so I can trust in them!!

Forgot to mention that the section on clearing up negative emotions was absolutely huge for me.
